Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter, is a book about her experience in the Chilean resistance. In 2011, it was published in the United States and the United Kingdom. It has been translated into Dutch and Finnish.

In Mexican Hooker # 1, the sequel to her first book, she explores her fight against PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). It was published in April 2016 in North America and the United Kingdom, and it was mentioned by The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen’s, Quill & Quire, and 49th Shelf as one of the most anticipated books of 2016.
