Carmen’s plays have been nominated for twelve local and national awards. In 2002, her play The Refugee Hotel won the Jessie Richardson New Play Center Award. Carmen is currently working on the plays Broken Tailbone, Anywhere but Here, and The Trial with Tina Modotti.
